Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a dynamic Account Director to rebuild and grow a major strategic account within the financial markets. This role focuses on repositioning Lab49 as a strategic innovation partner, opening new business opportunities, and driving account growth across various financial institution departments.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt and open new opportunities
  • Rebuild relationships across a financial institution
  • Identify and penetrate new business units
  • Lead proactive outreach campaigns
  • Drive account growth and repositioning
  • Redefine client perception of Lab49
  • Develop tailored offerings
  • Lead pitches and negotiate commercial terms
  • Establish credibility with senior executives
  • Coordinate with delivery teams
  • Track and manage activity through CRM tools

Requirements

  • 7–10 years’ experience in account development or business development within financial services
  • Proven success in hunting and growing accounts within large financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and digital transformation
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Charismatic and credible with senior decision-makers
  • Deeply networked within financial institutions
  • Commercially minded with a track record of account growth
