Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with leading financial institutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of accounts, partnering with various teams to protect and expand business within the banking, capital markets, and wealth/asset management sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Protect and grow flagship financial services accounts
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and convert them into new SOWs
  • Navigate enterprise procurement, budgeting, politics, and risk reviews
  • Represent the firm to senior executives and technical leadership
  • Operate with complete ownership and minimal oversight

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing strategic accounts in financial services
  • Experience working with technology and engineering stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently and set strategy
  • Hands-on experience navigating procurement cycles and budgeting processes
  • Consulting-grade professionalism
  • Proven ability to manage strategic accounts with revenue targets
  • Executive-level communication skills
  • Demonstrated success driving expansion and cross-sell
