Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to build enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, automate workflows, and provide technical leadership to development teams. The role involves client interaction, designing solutions, and championing DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of DevOps workflows
• Automate development and operational workflows
• Collaborate with team leadership and cross-functional technologists
• Champion cloud architecture and DevOps best practices
• Break down complex technical problems
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams
• Drive teams to deliver outcomes
• Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
• Define and drive best practices for application deployment
• Evaluate and implement new cloud tools

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps engineering
• 2+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role
• Expertise with Terraform
• Experience with cloud-native applications and AWS
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and container technologies
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of collaboration
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong grasp of software design patterns and agile practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
