Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in data engineering technologies, market and credit counterparty risk platforms, and the financial services sector to build scalable, high-performance data platforms in a collaborative, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test, configure, and modify software
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement platforms and solutions
• Build and manage automated delivery pipelines
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing
• Collaborate with the Data Warehouse Architect
• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines
• Work closely with stakeholders
• Produce technical documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience delivering data-centric platforms
• Proven experience with market and credit counterparty risk platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Python
• Strong experience with AWS, Airflow, and Snowflake
• Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment
• Self-sufficient in a CI/CD environment
• Proven ability to contribute as an individual
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
