Lab49 is seeking a skilled Python Developer to build next-generation financial systems, develop scalable microservices, and create systems to process data streams using cutting-edge technologies in an Agile environment. The role requires expertise in Python, experience with market and credit counterparty risk platforms, and proficiency in developing cloud-native applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable Python-based microservices
• Design and implement solutions for risk platforms
• Utilize advanced Python features
• Architect solutions using Consul, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Spark
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile
• Create and optimize database models
• Build and maintain testing frameworks
• Design and implement asynchronous operations
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications in AWS
• Lead design and integration of APIs
• Ensure high-performance, scalable solutions

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in Python 3.4+
• Proven experience with risk platforms
• Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture
• Expertise in messaging, streaming, and REST API development
• Familiarity with tools like Consul, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Spark
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
