Job Description

The SDET Engineer will be responsible for testing applications in an automated fashion for Lab49 clients, collaborating with a project team and directly interacting with clients to create automated testing capabilities for applications that solve business problems and enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced testing capabilities
• Communicate with leadership and technologists
• Break down complex problems into solutions
• Work with data sources and APIs
• Assist development teams in improving testing efficiency
• Work with development engineers to track defects
• Contribute to improving software
• Advocate test-driven development

Requirements

• Proven software based automated testing experience
• Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin and XPath
• Computer Science or related field of study
• Experience working with data via REST and JSON
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Working knowledge of the development landscape
