Job Description

Lab49 is seeking a Tech Lead to play a critical role on key projects for their financial clients. The role involves leading product teams, making technical decisions, interfacing with stakeholders, and establishing efficient development processes while utilizing modern technologies like Java and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead product teams and make technical decisions
• Interface with stakeholders to align technology with business objectives
• Establish development processes, quality frameworks, and automation
• Work with Java, Spring, databases, and distributed applications
• Demonstrate understanding of cloud providers like Azure

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in finance
• 5+ years of experience leading teams
• Experience in adopting and driving technical decisions
• Strong understanding of development processes and automation
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, databases, and distributed applications
• Experience with containerization and deployment
• Understanding of cloud providers, preferably Azure
• Excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
