Job Description

Pomelo is seeking an Associate Medical Director in Pediatrics to provide medical leadership and collaborative clinical support to a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving perinatal health outcomes. This role involves physician supervision, clinical content development, recruitment, population health program support, and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician supervision and consultation for APPs and nursing leadership
• Serve as pediatric medical director in cross-disciplinary team meetings
• Develop clinical content for the Pediatrics program
• Support recruitment and training of pediatric medical providers
• Drive population health programs and identify improvement opportunities
• Implement interventions for practice performance improvement
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary review sessions
• Engage in direct patient care
• Participate in on-call schedules

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited US medical school
• Successful completion of an accredited US residency program in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with substantial pediatrics experience
• Minimum of three years of post-residency experience in pediatric primary or urgent care
• Active, unrestricted US medical license
• Experience leading successful teams
