Pomelo is seeking a Staff Virtual Doula to provide education, emotional support, and physical comfort to expecting and new families via their client software. The role involves delivering evidence-based perinatal support, creating personalized care plans, and connecting with families virtually, while adhering to Pomelo’s protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based perinatal support virtually
• Create personalized care plans
• Connect with families via telehealth platforms
• Confirm client eligibility and communicate program guidelines
• Match clients to in-person doulas
• Document client interactions
• Leverage Pomelo’s technology suite
• Participate in team meetings and professional development
• Adhere to a scheduled work assignment

Requirements

• California residence and active Medi-Cal enrollment
• Birth and/or full spectrum doula certification
• 5+ years of doula experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to connect with clients virtually
• Interest in learning new technologies
• Ability to work an evening/weekend on-call schedule
