Job Description

Pomelo is seeking a Neonatal ICU/Perinatal Nurse to provide virtual support to birthing parents and their NICU babies, offering clinical guidance, education, and assessment to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home. This role involves coordinating holistic family support, developing care plans, and proactively triaging patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered clinical care
• Coordinate family support and connect parents to resources
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients on remote monitoring equipment
• Respond to abnormal diagnostic results
• Triage urgent concerns
• Document care interactions
• Provide user feedback for program development

Requirements

• BSN and active compact RN license
• 4+ years of recent experience in maternal-child health
• 1+ year of NICU experience
• 1+ year of labor and delivery/postpartum or Antepartum experience
• Growth mindset and ability to adapt to change
• Remote work capabilities (internet, video, phone, text)
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism
