Job Description

Pomelo is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered clinical care to perinatal patients during evening hours. The role involves clinical assessments, care plan development, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes and address care gaps.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered clinical care
• Perform clinical and psychosocial assessments
• Establish individualized care plans
• Develop wellness goals
• Address barriers to care
• Reduce care gaps
• Assess and educate on remote monitoring equipment
• Respond to abnormal diagnostic results
• Triage urgent concerns
• Document care and escalate issues
• Provide user feedback for program development

Requirements

• BSN and active compact RN license
• 4+ years of recent hospital/healthcare experience
• 3+ years of experience in labor and delivery
• Flexible and agile thinking
• Internet connectivity for remote work
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism
