Job Description

Pomelo is seeking a Pediatric Triage RN to provide patient-centered clinical care to pediatric patients. This role involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekend shifts and a self-scheduled weekday shift, with a rotating holiday commitment. The RN will assess urgent pediatric concerns, triage patients, and provide ongoing clinical and psychosocial assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assess urgent pediatric concerns and triage patients
• Follow evidence-based clinical protocols
• Provide clinical and psychosocial assessment
• Address barriers to care
• Reduce care gaps
• Assess patient needs for remote monitoring equipment
• Respond to abnormal diagnostic results
• Document care interactions
• Provide user feedback for program development

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with BSN
• Active, unencumbered compact RN license with multi-state privileges
• 3+ years experience in outpatient practice or hospital serving pediatric populations
• Flexible and agile thinker
• Internet connectivity for remote work
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism
