Job Description

Pomelo is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered clinical care to perinatal patients. This role involves clinical and psychosocial assessments, care plan development, patient education, and remote monitoring, with a focus on addressing care gaps and ensuring appropriate utilization of healthcare services. The position is full-time, daytime hours (M-F 9am-6pm EST) and remote.

Responsibilities

• Individualized care plan establishment
• Wellness goal development
• Addressing barriers to care

• Patient education on remote monitoring equipment
• Surveillance of diagnostic results
• Triage of urgent concerns
• Documentation of care interactions
• Providing user feedback for program development

Requirements

• BSN and active compact RN license
• 4+ years recent experience in hospital/healthcare practice
• 3+ years experience in labor and delivery
• Flexible and agile thinking
• Internet connectivity for remote work
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism
