Job Description

Pomelo is seeking a Senior Manager to own the strategy and execution of licensing, credentialing, and Medicaid enrollments across new and existing markets. This role involves managing a team, overseeing the end-to-end process, leveraging data for improvements, and working cross-functionally to achieve licensing and credentialing goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of licensing and credentialing associates and managers
• Oversee end-to-end licensing, credentialing, and enrollment process
• Implement licensing, credentialing, and enrollment strategy
• Leverage data to identify gaps in coverage
• Resolve process improvements
• Own processes related to the Credentialing Committee
• Work cross-functionally with customer success, market operations, and clinical teams
• Manage relationship with third-party licensing vendor
• Lead audit activities related to licensing, credentialing, and enrollment
• Scale the licensing, credentialing, and payer enrollment guide

Requirements

• 5+ years healthcare operations experience
• 2+ years people management experience
• 1+ years experience managing licensing, credentialing, and enrollment
• Experience with credentialing APPs, therapists, registered dietitians, physicians, and doulas preferred
• Exceptional project management and prioritization skills
• Experience building and scaling operational processes
• Results-oriented and meticulous
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Exceptional cross-functional ability
• Passionate about maternal and child health
