Pomelo is seeking an experienced data scientist to join their Care Intelligence team, focusing on developing AI-powered products to enhance clinical programs, patient engagement, and care team capabilities. The role involves data modeling, measurement, and data-driven insights to improve healthcare for women and children.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in Pomelo’s business model and patient experience
• Complete exploratory analyses for AI feature development
• Develop AI-powered features (content generation, clinical decision support)
• Define and implement quantitative metrics for AI impact
• Analyze AI product performance and conduct A/B tests

Requirements

• 6+ years of data science experience with a product focus
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare or regulated industries
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with AI product prototyping and LLMs
• Passion for improving maternal health outcomes
• Ability to solve complex problems across domains
• Cross-functional communication skills
