Job Description

Pomelo is seeking an experienced data scientist to join their Care Intelligence team, focusing on developing AI-powered products to enhance clinical programs, patient engagement, and care team capabilities. The role involves data modeling, measurement, and data-driven insights to improve healthcare for women and children.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in Pomelo’s business model and patient experience
• Complete exploratory analyses for AI feature development
• Contribute to AI-powered feature and product development
• Define and implement quantitative metrics for AI impact measurement
• Execute analyses to measure AI product performance and conduct A/B tests

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in a data science role with a focus on product development
• 3+ years of professional experience in healthcare or regulated industries
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python
• Proven experience with AI product prototyping and LLMs
• Passion for improving maternal health outcomes
• Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems
• Cross-functional communication skills
