Job Description

Pomelo is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to shape their IT program and provide onsite support in their NYC office. The role involves creating a user-friendly technology environment, automating IT processes, implementing security policies, and supporting a variety of IT systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create an intuitive technology environment
• Provide onsite support in NYC
• Document, improve, and automate IT processes
• Define and meet support SLAs
• Implement security policies
• Manage office networking equipment
• Manage physical hardware inventory

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT support/operations experience
• High-level customer service orientation
• Experience working independently and in a team
• Comfort working with executives
• Experience supporting audio/video/telephony equipment
• Experience managing office networking equipment
• Familiarity with office security configurations
• Strong communication skills
• Experience administering Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
• Experience managing Macs and macOS
• Knowledge of MDM tools
