Job Description

Pomelo is seeking an experienced data scientist to develop AI-powered products that enhance clinical programs, drive patient engagement, and create new capabilities for care teams and patients. The role involves data modeling, measurement, and data-driven insights to improve maternal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in Pomelo’s business model and patient experience
• Complete exploratory analyses to inform AI feature development
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered features
• Define and implement quantitative metrics to measure AI impact
• Execute analyses to measure AI product performance and conduct A/B tests

Requirements

• 6+ years professional experience in a data science role with a focus on product development
• 3+ years professional experience in healthcare or regulated industries
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python
• Proven experience with AI product prototyping and LLMs
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
