Pomelo Care is seeking a doula to educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This is a 1099 independent contractor role focused on providing support and improving birth outcomes for families.
Responsibilities
Educate and guide expecting and new families
Provide support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
Improve birth outcomes
Connect with families from diverse backgrounds
Utilize telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
Requirements
Birth and/or full spectrum doula certification/training
Experience working as a doula
Understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
Strong communication skills
Comfort with telehealth and electronic systems
Availability for virtual and in-person work, including evenings and weekends
