Pomelo Care is seeking a doula to educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This role focuses on improving birth outcomes by providing support and empowerment to families during a transformative time, with benefits like insurance credentialing, flexible scheduling, and client base growth.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide expecting and new families
• Provide support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
• Improve birth outcomes
• Work virtually and in-person
• Accommodate evening and weekend needs

Requirements

• Birth or full spectrum doula certification from a recognized organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation
• Virginia state Medicaid enrollment (support provided if needed)
• Adult & Infant CPR & First Aid Certification
• Background screening completion
