Job Description

ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager to oversee inventory control processes and develop a team of associates within their Innovation Center. The role involves driving process improvement, maintaining a safe work environment, tracking performance, and ensuring employee engagement. This position reports to the Senior Operations Manager and oversees all ICQA Associates.

Responsibilities

• Run daily standup meetings using data to assign tasks
• Track associate task progress and provide training
• Produce weekly reports on inventory issues
• Provide feedback on processes and tools
• Respond to Jira tickets from Merchant Care
• Oversee hazard and risk analysis
• Maintain product traceability and accuracy

Requirements

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership in a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to manage performance and develop talent
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI, TMS systems)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
