Job Description

The Onsite Merchant Support Specialist monitors and completes inventory control activities for ShipBob merchants at partner fulfillment centers, acting as the primary ShipBob representative onsite to resolve merchant concerns and support scalable operations.

Responsibilities

  • Run daily cycle counting and inventory control processes
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and report significant issues
  • Perform physical location checks and reconcile inventory variances
  • Determine root cause of inventory adjustments
  • Perform audits requested by merchants
  • Respond to merchant requests via ticketing system
  • Communicate concerns to OSS Area Manager and Operations Manager
  • Present weekly performance reports
  • Comply with food safety and compliance policies
  • Ensure product safety, quality, and legality

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with ICQA processes in a 3PL or warehousing environment
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management System software
  • Experience using an RF Scanner preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and push/pull
