Job Description

The Onsite Merchant Support Specialist monitors and completes inventory control activities for ShipBob merchants at partner fulfillment centers. This role involves direct partnership with leadership and associates to resolve merchant concerns and ensure a positive merchant experience while supporting fulfillment center operations and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Run daily cycle counting and inventory control processes
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Perform physical location checks
  • Determine root cause of inventory adjustments
  • Perform audits requested by merchants
  • Respond to merchant requests via ticketing system
  • Vocalize concerns around inventory practices
  • Communicate updates to OSS Area Manager
  • Present weekly performance reports
  • Comply with food safety and compliance policies

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with ICQA processes in a 3PL or warehousing environment
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management System software
  • Experience using an RF Scanner preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to stand and walk continuously
  • Able to bend, stoop, reach, and push/pull frequently
