Job Description

The Solutions Engineer will understand the strategic needs of mid-market clients and deliver value to facilitate their growth. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Implementation, and Success teams to align business objectives with technical solutions, acting as a trusted advisor, and demonstrating the platform's potential.

Responsibilities

• Architect merchant success by understanding business goals and crafting tailored solutions
• Support sales stages including demos, RFPs, and technical evaluations
• Conduct technical discovery to uncover opportunities and guide solution design
• Develop and communicate a technical vision and implementation roadmap
• Partner with Implementation Specialists for flawless delivery
• Maintain expertise in industry trends and ShipBob’s offerings
• Champion product innovation and provide feedback

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience supporting merchants in SaaS and e-commerce
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Comfort with APIs, SQL, and scripting languages
• Cross-functional leadership experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience building repeatable frameworks and documentation
