Job Description

GWI is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with sales teams, translate customer needs into technical solutions, and drive business growth. The role involves pre-sales technical leadership, solution proposal, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to propose API and data integration solutions
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects
  • Articulate and demonstrate API capabilities
  • Evaluate technical feasibility of solutions
  • Create and maintain pre-sales technical assets
  • Provide documentation of proposed integrations
  • Act as a bridge between sales, product, and engineering
  • Capture market feedback on API/data features

Requirements

  • Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Consultant
  • Strong understanding of REST API design and data formats
  • Familiarity with integration patterns
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfort in fast-paced sales cycles
  • Ability to think big, ask why, and show respect
