Job Description

Torq is seeking a hands-on People Operations & Total Rewards Manager to build and enhance the systems, programs, and processes that support the company's rapid growth. This role will focus on US benefits, perks, leave programs, compensation strategy, and strengthening the operational foundation for a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and elevate US benefits and perks
  • Research and benchmark competitive total rewards offerings
  • Manage end-to-end leave administration
  • Serve as benefits expert and ensure compliance
  • Support compensation strategy
  • Build and maintain scalable People processes
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Maintain HRIS systems
  • Drive automation and process improvements
  • Partner with Finance & Legal for data alignment
  • Serve as a resource for policy questions

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in Total Rewards, People Ops, or hybrid HR roles
  • Deep expertise in US benefits and leave programs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (HiBob, ADP, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of multi-state compliance
  • High ownership and precision
  • Curiosity and interest in process improvements
