Job Description

Torq is seeking a Sales Engineer to build, implement, and manage a top-standard SE strategy in a hyper-growth environment. The role involves evangelizing Torq's AI security solutions by understanding customer needs and delivering compelling presentations. This is a remote position based in the DMV region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise
  • Lead Sales Engineering team
  • Partner with sales and product groups
  • Ensure accuracy of internal systems
  • Provide technical guidance to sales team
  • Deliver presentations to customers
  • Promote products at events
  • Participate in industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Provide product development input

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience with SaaS Cloud Security
  • Deep understanding of pre-sales processes
  • Public Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Scripting/programming experience (Python, Powershell, bash)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR)
  • Experience with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to influence decision makers
