Job Description

Torq is seeking a Sales Engineer to build and manage the SE strategy for their new SLED vertical. This role involves providing technical expertise to the sales team, understanding customer needs, and delivering presentations to showcase the value of Torq's AI security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical expertise
  • Lead Sales Engineering team
  • Partner with sales and product groups
  • Ensure accuracy of internal systems
  • Deliver presentations to customers
  • Promote products at events
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Provide product development input

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales engineering/solutions engineering experience with SaaS Cloud Security
  • 5+ years of experience with public sector (SLED) customers
  • Deep understanding of pre-sales processes
  • Public Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) experience
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, bash)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, SOAR, EDR)
  • Experience with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Excellent project management skills
