Job Description

The Product Engineer will develop high-quality apparel products, manage technical specifications, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and superior production. This role requires a strong understanding of garment manufacturing and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage technical specifications and bills of materials
• Create measurement specifications
• Manage prototype process and problem-solving
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Review and communicate sampling requirements
• Adhere to development calendar deadlines
• Develop and maintain material details
• Recommend and source new materials
• Develop vendor relationships
• Follow established processes for trim development
• Coordinate material utilization

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in garment manufacturing or product development
• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience with domestic/offshore vendors
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with PLM systems
