Job Description

WPP is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team. The role involves end-to-end ownership of ML initiatives, from problem definition to deployment and monitoring, with a focus on independent project management, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive ML solution adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of ML pipelines
• Manage the entire ML lifecycle
• Own MLOps workflows using MLflow, Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts
• Build and scale APIs/microservices for ML model serving
• Monitor and address model drift and performance
• Explore and apply advanced AI/ML techniques

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in ML Engineering
• Strong programming in Python and SQL
• Expertise with ML frameworks: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Deep experience in MLOps tools: MLflow, Airflow, Docker/Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of version control (GitHub/GitLab)
• Experience with Databricks
• Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers
