Job Description

The North America (NA) Regional Director, Risk & Controls will partner with the Global Director to roll out strategic priorities across the NA region, leading second line of defense activities and ensuring robust risk management and internal controls. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and will lead SOX programs, risk assessments, training, and control transformation.

Responsibilities

• Leading WPP's SOX program across NA
• Performing risk assessment and controls framework
• Developing and delivering regulatory and compliance training
• Leading control transformation and implementation of best practices
• Enhancing control design and implementation
• Supporting remediation efforts
• Collaborating on non-financial reporting controls
• Identifying digital compliance solutions

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Significant internal and/or external audit experience
• Strong background in risk assessment and controls
• Leadership and management skills
• Strategic thinking and collaborative mindset
• Proven track record of influencing change
• Large company process reengineering experience
