Job Description

Workato is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (Presales) to join their growing team. This role involves articulating technology, communicating the value of Workato’s products, and shaping the product direction by communicating market needs. The architect will own the technical alignment with customers during the pre-sales lifecycle and drive technical sales stages to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical diagnosis, prescription, and validation phases
  • Team with AEs and Solution Architects to evangelize the platform
  • Work with Customer Success to implement solutions
  • Articulate business, technical, and architectural concepts
  • Create and deliver custom product demonstrations
  • Perform business and technical discovery
  • Manage and execute technical workshops and POCs
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • Collect feedback for Product Management and Engineering
  • Represent the product at field events

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent - Computer Science degree
  • Good pre-sales experience in a SaaS/iPaas organization
  • Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, and APIs
  • Experience with cloud technologies (iPaaS, SaaS)
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours
  • 5+ years of Presales experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
