Workato is seeking a Senior AI Research Scientist to explore workflow-aware planning, cost-optimized RAG, tool-use evaluation, and multi-agent collaboration. The role involves prototyping and benchmarking models, collaborating with Product & Engineering, and contributing to open-source projects and technical blogs.

Requirements

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field
• Hands-on with PyTorch/JAX and modern LLM frameworks
• Strong publication record in top-tier ML venues
• Experience with large-scale model training
• Experience with transformer architectures
• Experience with reinforcement-learning techniques
• Experience with CUDA
• Curiosity-driven and self-directed
• Ability to explain complex ideas
• Team player
