Workato is seeking a Customer Centric Engineer to solve critical customer technical escalations, identify root causes, propose fixes, and contribute to product diagnostic tools. This role involves collaboration with various teams to improve customer satisfaction and champion supportability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Solve critical customer technical escalations
• Identify root causes using troubleshooting techniques
• Propose test cases and fixes
• Develop product diagnostic tools
• Provide timely information to customer-facing teams
• Mentor Technical Support
• Author and maintain internal knowledge base documentation
• Build relationships with other teams
• Champion Supportability and Debuggability initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with Ruby
• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Unparalleled troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and social skills
• Knowledge of Internet development technologies (Java, PostgresSQL, gRPC, REST)
• Experience with user-level automation frameworks and scripting (Ruby, Python, Go)
• Good understanding of network protocols
• Experience in SaaS development and cloud technologies
• Good understanding of DB technologies
• Scripting and coding knowledge
