Job Description

Workato is seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams on their Agentic platform. The role involves translating complex technical concepts into accessible content to support the adoption and effective use of Agentic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain learning paths, courses, and microlearning modules
• Create instructional materials (videos, e-learning, documentation)
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
• Design hands-on labs and real-world scenarios
• Develop assessments, quizzes, and certification programs
• Gather learner feedback and iterate on content
• Stay current with AI, automation, and agentic trends

Requirements

• Proven experience designing technical training for SaaS, automation, or AI products
• Ability to learn and explain complex concepts
• Skilled in authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
• Experience working cross-functionally
• Analytical mindset and data-driven approach
• Excellent communication skills
• 3+ years of instructional design experience
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or AI-driven products
• Knowledge of adult learning theory
