Job Description

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Principal Support Engineer to lead production operations for a large enterprise platform running in GCP, prioritize incidents, perform analysis for automation, and provide Level 2/3 support. The role involves on-call support, root cause analysis, application SME guidance, and coordination with development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Production Operations for a large enterprise platform in GCP
  • Prioritize incidents and requests
  • Perform analysis for automation and improvements
  • Provide Level 2/3 support
  • Provide on-call support for Severity 1/2 incidents
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Guide team members on platform functionalities
  • Coordinate with development during deployments
  • Learn new technologies

Requirements

  • 8+ years of application support experience
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Preferably GCP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of ITSM Fundamentals
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Experience with Java, IAM, LDAP, OKTA UID, and Network concepts (Nice to have)
  • Hands-on experience in Linux, Splunk, Power BI, SQL (BigQuery) & NoSQL database, and JDBC (Nice to have)
  • Understanding of Data Caching technologies and Containerization in GCP (Nice to have)
  • Exposure to ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, xMatters (Nice to have)
