SoundCloud is seeking a motivated and diligent Part-time US Tax Accounting Associate to support the US Tax Manager in tax compliance and reporting activities, focusing on indirect tax like US and Canadian Sales Tax filings and US withholding tax forms. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, international organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file US and Canadian Sales Tax returns
• Support preparation of withholding tax forms
• Gather data for tax audits
• Maintain tax schedules and documentation
• Collaborate with finance teams
• Assist with data analysis and reconciliations
• Support other tax projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (pursuing)
• Basic understanding of US tax concepts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
