Dagster Labs is seeking a driven Software Engineer to contribute to building and enhancing the Dagster platform, specifically focusing on accelerating Compass adoption. The role involves shaping the product, shipping user-facing features, working across the full stack, and iterating closely with users and partners to deliver impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write clean backend code (Python) and frontend code (Typescript/React)
• Prototype quickly and ship features
• Improve performance, reliability, and user experience
• Build end-to-end features integrating AI for insights
• Shape user interactions through asynchronous workflows
• Engage with users for feedback

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Python or similar language
• Familiarity with frontend development
• Expertise in the software development lifecycle
