Arize AI is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team working on OpenInference, an open-source standard for AI observability. The role involves building and maintaining instrumentation libraries, driving improvements to observability standards, and collaborating with the open-source community and enterprise deployments to shape the future of AI development.

Responsibilities

• Build new LLM and instrumentation libraries
• Maintain and enhance existing instrumentation
• Drive improvements to semantic conventions and OpenTelemetry standards
• Collaborate with the developer community
• Take ownership of problems from ideation to completion

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of software development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript
• Community-oriented mindset
• Deep interest in AI/LLM ecosystem
• Strong analytical skills
