Job Description

Arize AI is seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to build and maintain highly scalable distributed services powering their ML observability platform. The role involves writing backend code in Go, Java, and Python, designing APIs, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to innovate and expand product offerings in the rapidly evolving AI and LLM space.

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable, scalable, and performant backend code
• Build high-volume and highly available analytics systems
• Design and build APIs for ML and LLM workflows
• Prototype, optimize, and maintain backend services
• Extend and contribute to open source databases and message queue frameworks
• Develop and integrate collection tools for ML/LLM pipeline monitoring
• Research and implement visualization & dimensionality reduction algorithms
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer engineering teams
• Contribute to building in-house AI Agents

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with high-performance backend systems
• Strong experience in Go, Python, TypeScript/Node, or Java
• Enthusiasm for the AI and LLM ecosystem
• Experience building and operating complex SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of public clouds & container orchestration (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes)
