Xometry is seeking a motivated college student for a General Ledger Accounting Internship. The intern will gain experience in core financial operations, supporting financial reporting, record-keeping, and month-end/quarter-end closing processes.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update the company's general ledger
Prepare and analyze financial journal entries
Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes
Reconcile financial accounts and identify discrepancies
Collaborate with departments for accurate reporting
Compile financial statements and documentation
Apply accounting software and systems
Prepare preliminary financial reports and analysis
Requirements
Enrolled in an accredited college/university, graduating Dec 2026/May 2027
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) June 8 - August 14, 2025
Strong communication skills
Entrepreneurial spirit and problem-solving skills
Legal authorization to work in the US
Ability to commute to North Bethesda, MD or Lexington, KY 3 days/week
