Job Description

Xometry is seeking a motivated college student for a General Ledger Accounting Internship to gain experience in financial accounting, reporting, and record-keeping. The intern will support core financial operations and develop critical accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company's general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial journal entries
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes
• Reconcile financial accounts and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with departments for accurate reporting
• Compile financial statements and documentation
• Apply accounting software and systems
• Prepare preliminary financial reports and analysis

Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university, graduating Dec 2026/May 2027
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) June 8 - August 14, 2025
• Strong communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and problem-solving skills
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Ability to commute to Lexington, KY office 3 days/week
