Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support rapid customer growth by improving mechanical solutions from concept to production. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, root cause analysis, audit management, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality-centric activities from concept to production
• Reduce supplier nonconformities through root cause analysis
• Manage internal, customer, and certification audits
• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) library
• Complete customer surveys and manage corrective actions
• Manage the Material Review Board (MRB)
• Triage multiple process root causes simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in a quality role
• 2+ years experience in a customer/supplier facing role
• Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experience
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ
• Full understanding of GD&T and tooling
• Mechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications
• Big Data development and trend analysis experience
• ISO 9001 and Internal audits experience
