Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to operate and program CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality parts. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up and programming CNC machines, designing fixtures, maintaining machinery, and inspecting completed parts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Setup, program, and operate CNC Mill and Lathe
• Run tests and adjust machines
• Design and manufacture fixtures
• Maintain machinery
• Supervise machine execution
• Inspect completed parts
• Comply with quality and safety systems
• Maintain work area cleanliness

Requirements

• 10+ years of CNC machining experience
• Skill in CNC machinery operation and programming
• Ability to read mechanical documents
• Expert understanding of CNC programming and CAD/CAM
• Mechanical aptitude and math skills
• 4+ years programming experience
• Knowledge of GD&T
• US citizen or Green Card holder
