Job Description

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for resolving Xometry’s most challenging manufacturing projects, coordinating and placing orders outside of standard automated workflows. This role involves technical review, problem-solving, and collaboration with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful project placement.

Responsibilities

• Manage advanced sourcing cases
• Investigate root causes of supplier acceptance issues
• Review technical documentation and drawings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
• Communicate with suppliers and customers
• Maintain case notes and documentation
• Provide guidance to Sourcing Coordinators

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain management
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Competence with online research and cost validation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and Docs
• Demonstrated success resolving complex challenges
