Job Description

Xometry is seeking a strategic Senior Director to expand their presence and drive revenue within U.S. Federal, State, and Local government agencies, and educational institutions. This leadership role requires expertise in public sector procurement, building high-performing sales teams, and articulating Xometry's value proposition in a complex regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute public sector sales strategy
  • Secure large government contracts
  • Drive revenue growth
  • Lead and mentor a sales team
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations
  • Manage sales forecasts and budgets
  • Stay abreast of market trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience, 5+ in public sector leadership
  • Success securing large contracts
  • Understanding of public sector procurement
  • Experience selling manufacturing solutions
  • Proven ability to build and manage sales teams
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
