Job Description

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on navigating and influencing the procurement process within enterprise-level organizations. This role requires expertise in sales cycles, contract negotiations, and building relationships with procurement leaders to secure long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Lead quarterly business reviews
  • Act as an expert on the procurement landscape
  • Build relationships with procurement professionals
  • Navigate procurement organizations
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle
  • Develop presentations and proposals
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Accurately forecast sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Provide customer feedback
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience selling technical products/services into enterprise customers
  • Experience with procurement as a primary focus
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Prospecting and sales planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 30-50%
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
