Xometry is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to act as a customer-facing Manufacturing Solutions Engineer, embedded within strategic accounts. This role blends customer engagement, technical expertise, and operational execution, focusing on driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within a digital manufacturing marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Customer Integration: Act as a trusted advisor, build relationships, collaborate on DFM, proactively address challenges, and stay informed about customer projects
• Order Fulfillment and Quality: Direct orders to qualified manufacturers, conduct on-site audits, manage projects, handle communications, and monitor dashboards
• Sales and Account Growth: Partner with Sales Executives, identify expansion opportunities, provide technical support, and gather customer feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, and project management
• Experience in aerospace industry preferred
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles
• Experience in Injection Molding, CNC Machining, Tube Bending, Composites, or 3D printing preferred
• Proficiency in Solidworks, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce
• Ability to travel up to 50%
