Job Description

Xometry is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to support Sales by providing technical expertise and project management for automotive production customers. This role involves customer engagement, understanding manufacturing challenges, and aligning Xometry's capabilities with customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth
• Discover and execute major projects
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges
• Gather customer insights and feedback
• Assist Pre-Sales Engineering with quotes
• Provide project management and oversight
• Create cost breakdowns and statements of work

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing and program management
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience with Xometry’s services
• Familiarity with automotive organizations like Lucid, Rivian, Tesla, Ford, GM
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and GDT
• Injection Molding experience required
• Familiarity with ISO9001, IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel 25%-35%
• Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
