Job Description

Xometry is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to support Sales by providing technical expertise and project management within the automotive and production engineering manufacturing community. This role involves customer engagement, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with sales teams to drive account growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth
• Discover and execute major projects
• Proactively identify and address manufacturing challenges
• Gather customer insights and feedback
• Assist Pre-Sales Engineering with quotes
• Provide project management and oversight
• Create cost breakdowns and statement of work documents

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing and program management
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience with Xometry’s services
• Familiarity with automotive organizations like Lucid, Rivian, Tesla, Ford, GM
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and GDT
• Experience in Injection Molding
• Familiarity with ISO9001, IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel 25%-35%
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
